Hey guys!

I finally found time to put together a recap of  Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week with focus on the major highlights from the runway shows. I should have done this sooner but I’m doing it now and I hope you like it.
Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) is a multiday fashion event platform that aims to drive the Nigerian and ultimately, the African fashion industry; by bringing together buyers, consumers and the media to view the current collections of African designers in the fashion capital of Lagos, Nigeria.

This year’s show held at Eko Atlantic, VI and not the regular venue at Federal Palace Hotel, VI. I actually preferred this new venue, mostly because it was more spacious and had better picture locations, lol.

I registered for the Fashion Business Series but due to time  I was not able to meet up with any, sad! As for the runway shows, these are the TOP 5 designers that did it for me.

GERT JOHAN COETZEE

ANDREA IYAMAH

CHRISTIE BROWN

SISIANO

I loved pieces from other designers like Titi Belo, Meena, Iamsigo, Tiffany Amber, Nkwo, Orange Culture, and many others. Overall, I had a better experience at this years show than last year’s. Check out my look to day 1 here.

Hope you guys like this post, and I’ll love to read your comments on this.
